The filling station is suitable for emptying and filling reservoirs from the Tissue Processor. This fully pneumatically controlled unit allows you to empty and fill the reservoirs with minimal manual operations in a well ventilated environment.

By storing supply containers in an explosion-proof cabinet, you can store larger quantities of alcohol and xylene in the department.

The device consists of 2 parts:

First, the filling unit. Containers to be refreshed are placed here for emptying or filling respectively. 3 dispensing points are provided: 1 for alcohol, 1 for xylene, and a third optionally for formaldehyde or lower alcohol concentrations. The dispensing points are closed by a sight glass to ensure optimal fume extraction and to prevent the user from coming into contact with vapors and/or liquids during container filling or emptying under any circumstances.

Second, the explosion-proof cabinet apparatus. The cabinet is equipped with 2 drip trays for placing chemicals. The lower part contains fresh chemicals that are pumped to the filling unit. Up to 3 containers (10 or 20 liters each) can be placed here. The upper part contains waste. Up to 3 waste containers (10 or 20 liters each) can also be placed here. The explosion-proof cabinet has a fire-resistant feedthrough and an extraction module.

The device is equipped with overflow protection that deactivates the pumps when waste containers in storage are full or the desired filling quantity is reached. A red indicator light on the filling unit alerts the user.

If a leak occurs or the overflow protection malfunctions, a drip tray safety system immediately shuts off all pumps.

The entire unit is pneumatically controlled and powered.

The housing (except the explosion-proof cabinet) is made of stainless steel.

Note

It is recommended to place the explosion-proof cabinet next to the filling unit to minimize tubing between the two units. Larger distances can be bridged at additional cost.

Required extraction capacity: 150-300 m³/h for the filling unit and 80 m³/h for the cabinet.

Compressed air connection to be provided by the contractor with shut-off valve and ¼" male thread. Working pressure: 5 bar. Flow rate: maximum 250 l/min at 5 bar.

An additional dispensing point for demineralized water is available at additional cost.

Standard configuration: all pumps are alcohol-resistant. Only 2 pumps (inlet and outlet) are xylene-resistant.
